Bernice Richmond, author of Winter Harbor wrote a newsletter from 1954 through 1960 about the events of the Schoodic Peninsula area. She thoughtfully recorded day to day activities, as well as interviewed older residents for their memories of earlier history. These volumes are a rich resource for research of Downeast Maine in the first half of the 20th century.
